Eddies of Time

Circling back to flow forward: empire & consciousness, unknowing in times of change, and the courage to craft our future...

Time ain’t linear, and this moment is an eddie…. As Mercury circles back, so must we, if we are to heed the tides of nature, and the gods of time.

What must we retrieve in order to flow forward again?

This episode is a collage of selections from blog posts I’ve written over the past 5 years. I was actually a little surprised by how much I’ve been mulling over the same questions for years now.

Here, I gather the threads of thought that I’ll continue to weave in episodes to come.

A few themes emerge:

  • Empire and consciousness

  • Knowledge, power, and paradigm

  • Unknowingness in Times of Change

  • Selfhood as political necessity

  • Courage in the face of monsters

I found an unpublished document that I wrote in 2020 called “Our Ancient Human Future”. And yet… it’s still not the time or place to share it….

Our Ancient Human Future is a massive theme that lays quiet beneath all this work. Maybe I’ll be able to draw it out more explicitly in times to come. But for today, a more local, more personal version: what is YOUR ancient future? What must you retrieve from your own past in the creation of your own future? Which IS the creation of OUR future, woven of the breathe and hands of each of us…..

In celebration of where I’ve been, in preparation for where I’m going, I’ve posted the full Mystic Sandwich blog archive.

I’m taking the next couple weeks “off” to dive into research for some episodes I’m working on. The main themes I want to explore in the coming months: Gender & Spirit, Selfhood, Simulation Theory, Consciousness Science, and yes, more on Paradigm Shift.

Thank you deeply for reading, listening, commenting, liking, and for all the ways you support this work.

Love & Joy & Fun to all of you this Leo Season.

I’m offering a discount on paid subscriptions this month: 30% for an entire year. Which gets you bonus content, access to the full blog and podcast archive, and the satisfaction of supporting work you care about.
